I developed a big crush on yoga in 1998 when I took my first yoga class because of lower back pain.  I was hooked, and my crush turned into a full-fledged love affair.  Little did I know that the physical benefits of yoga were just the tip of the iceberg. I learned how to apply what I learned in yoga to my everyday life through my art, photography and parenting. I even grew a half an inch taller.

I began teaching in 2011 so that I could share my love of yoga with other people. Helping my students develop their real-life yoga tool box including relaxation and breathing techniques, is one of my favorite parts of teaching. I believe that yoga should feel good. My goal as an instructor is to help you stretch, relax and laugh a little.

I am a certified 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance. I am also certified in Reiki Natural Healing.
